Description

Park Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with mid-19th century and some late 20th century alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and has a tile roof. The building is divided into two parts. The left side has three storeys, featuring a dentilled brick cornice and one window on the upper floors: a 16-pane sash window with a plastered wedge lintel on the second floor, and a 2-light casement window. The ground floor mirrors the first floor with a 16-pane sash window, and the entrance is to the right, consisting of a wooden doorcase with a six flush panel door, two of which are glazed. The right side has two storeys, also with a dentilled brick cornice and two windows: a 16-pane sash window under a plastered wedge lintel on the left, and a 3-light casement window under a segmental head on the right. The ground floor features a 16-pane sash window on the left with a plastered wedge lintel, and a blocked entrance with a segmental head on the right. The building is included for its group value.
