Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century and mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped tile roof. The building stands three storeys high and has three windows on the front. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows on either side of a central glazing bar sash window, all set beneath plaster wedge lintels that have keystones. The second floor contains 8-pane and 6-pane sash windows. The ground floor is notable for two bow windows that are accompanied by tripartite sash windows. The central entrance is framed by a pedimented wooden doorcase supported by engaged Doric columns, leading to a two-leaf glazed door.
