Description
This barn, located about 15 meters north of The Hill Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century and has undergone alterations in the mid-19th century and 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with additional brickwork and a half-hipped tile roof. The structure consists of three framed bays running east to west, with a brick bay on the west side and a short brick cross-wing at the east end. The central section has a threshing floor. There is a low entrance to the brick bay on the left, while the cross-wing has ventilation holes arranged in diamond patterns. The framing includes single panels at a height of one, intermediate trusses with king-posts and V-struts, and gables with struts to the collar. This barn is included for its group value.
