Description
This is a barn and cart shed with a granary, located about 20 metres west of Firs Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century and has some alterations from the 20th century. The structure features a timber frame on a brick plinth, with a combination of brick infill and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The building consists of five framed bays running east to west. The three bays on the west side include a central flagged threshing floor, while the next bay is lofted. The east bay contains the granary situated above an open-fronted cart shed, with steps leading up to the granary at the east gable.
