Description

The Manor House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick on a stone plinth, with a slate roof. The house has a parallel range plan and gable-end stacks. The south front, overlooking the garden, has two storeys with stone coped verges. It features three windows: 16-pane, moulded, boxed sash windows, each set beneath a plastered wedge lintel with a keystone. A central entrance is framed by a wooden doorcase featuring engaged Tuscan columns, an open pediment, a radially glazed fanlight, and a two-leaf, half-glazed door.
