Description

Toy Cottage is a late 17th to early 18th century cottage with 20th-century alterations. It is timber-framed with rendered infill and a thatched roof. The cottage is one bay wide, aligned north/south, and features an external brick stack on the south gable. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear (east). The cottage is one storey high with a gable-lit attic. There is a central door with a gabled canopy, and no windows are visible on the front elevation. The timber framing consists of three rectangular panels, with straight tension braces.
