Description

The Thatched Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage, altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed with painted brick infill and partial painted brick exterior, and has a thatched gabled roof. The rectangular plan consists of three framed bays, with a 20th-century lean-to extension at the rear. The cottage has two storeys. There are flanking chimneys. The front elevation has three framed bays. The upper floor features three two-light leaded casement windows; the ground floor has similar windows with a ledged central door sheltered by a tiled, hipped porch roof.
