Description

Nouale Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys tall, originally comprising three bays, with a hip-bay added to one end and a lean-to at the other. The front elevation features a swept-down roofed brick porch positioned between the centre and left-hand bays. There are 2-light casement windows in each bay, along with 2-light eyebrow dormers above. All windows have leaded lights. The roof is hipped, with a ridge stack located above the porch. The lean-to has a hip and end stack.
