Description

The Verge is an early 19th-century house that has been altered and extended in the 20th century. It is built of painted stucco with a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The house has an irregular plan and later extensions at the rear. It features symmetrical chimneys and brick dentil eaves.

The front of the house has two bays with sash windows featuring glazing bars and Venetian shutters. A rectangular, pedimented porch with brick dentil eaves contains a six-panelled entrance door, flanked by small niches and two-pane windows on either side. Original early 19th-century railings run along the road.
