Description

Eversley Cross House is a building that dates back to the original unit with additions from the early 19th century on the north and east sides, along with altered details from this second period. The house is two storeys high, with the main (south) front featuring three bays (four windows, including a small upper central window above a plain wall) and a small eastward extension on the upper floor that is slightly set back. The roof is covered with red tiles in a hipped style, which reflects the different periods of construction. The front is rendered and includes a first-floor band, with six plain round shafts attached on the ground floor. The windows consist of some sashes and casements, while the ground floor features French doors with painted Gothick lights. The other units have painted brickwork, a brick dentil eaves, and old casements with square leaded panes. On the east side, there is a 19th-century gabled porch with an arched opening that serves as the main entrance.
