Description

Dorneys is a 17th and 18th century long house located facing the Green in Eversley. The north elevation features two storeys with exposed timber-framing on the first floor. It has a red tile roof and a shafted stack. The lower walls and infill are rendered, with some sections in red brickwork. The windows are arranged in an irregular pattern of casements. The short west front displays a symmetrical 18th century facade made of red brickwork in Flemish bond, featuring three windows. On the south end of the ground floor, there is a Regency bow window with a cornice and side pilasters. The central doorway is topped with a canopy on brackets and has a plain frame with a six-panelled door, which includes lights in the top panels.
