Description

Green Cottage and Peggeth, dating from the late 18th century, is a two-storey building with two windows, although the center is blank. It features a red tile roof that is half-hipped at the north end, with brick dentil eaves. The building has painted brickwork and cambered openings on the ground floor. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames, and the door is topped with a concave lead hood. Attached to the north is a single-storey shop that has a hipped tile roof, an arched side door, and a modern front bow window. The connection to the main block includes a parapet wall, below which is a wide frame that contains a window and a half-glazed door. To the south, within the main block, there is a ground-floor sash window.
