Description
Parfitts House is an 18th-century building with a later addition from around 1900. Originally, it had a symmetrical front with two storeys and three windows, but a taller addition with an attic was added to the north, resulting in a facade with three windows on the ground floor and one on the upper floor. The house features a red tile roof with a gable at the north side that has a bargeboard. The walls are rendered, with cambered openings on the ground floor and tile-hung upper sections on the north gable. The windows are casements, and there is a large square bay on the north side. The entrance has a boarded door with a canopy supported by brackets.
An old boundary wall surrounds the property, featuring a stone coping in a middle section that is currently missing rails. This wall has short piers at the pedestrian entrance, which are capped with ball finials, and taller piers on either side. The wall continues northward, curving inward and rising above a square doorway, ending at a tall pier. Inside the garden area, there are brick doorway openings flanked by piers also capped with ball finials.
