Description

The barn at Parfitt's Farm, located to the northwest of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is a timber-framed structure consisting of five bays, featuring a high central entrance that extends beyond the aisles on the east side. The roof is covered with red tiles, having half-hipped ends and a full hip over the entrance. The frame of the barn is supported by high brick walls, which include curved braces connecting to the tie-beam and purlins. The upper walls are boarded.
