Description

This barn, located 30 metres north-west of Parsonage Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features a weather-boarded timber frame set on a brick base, topped with a half-hipped thatched roof. The structure is L-shaped, comprising a slightly wider east-west timber frame with six bays and aisles, which connects at its west end to a north-south timber frame with five bays. There are two aisled bays situated north of the central entrance. Inside, it includes a queen post truss with angled struts supporting the smaller arm.
