Description

Riverside Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with later alterations in the 18th century. It is a timber-framed building featuring small extensions at each end from the 18th century, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with two windows above four. The roof is half-hipped, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows. The frame includes painted brick infill at the lower part and rendered panels in the upper framing. The end walls are made of flint with brick quoins and bands, which return on the front at each side as painted brickwork. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door.
