Description

Parfitt's Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century building that stands two storeys high and features three irregularly spaced windows. The farmhouse has a recent tile roof that is half-hipped at the ends, with a catslide roof extending at the rear on the west side. The main front, facing south, showcases an exposed timber frame on the upper part of the western half, with red brick infill. The other walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with blue headers. The windows are casements, and there is a plain door. The rear elevation, facing north, is more plain but includes a large attached chimney stack, and the texture of the brickwork highlights the earlier construction of the western half of the building. The west gable is half-timbered.
