Description
Mill House is an 18th-century building that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tiled roof with ornamental bargeboards on two gables. The house has two storeys and attics, with bands at the first and second floors. There are two flush casement windows with glazing bars set under flat arches. The left side of the house has a semi-octagonal bay window with reeded pilasters, and a doorway that includes a half-glazed door and an oblong fanlight. The side elevation facing the lane has a single-storey and attic wing, which is adorned with a wooden fretwork cornice. This wing includes one casement window and one gabled dormer. The doorway has a pointed arch with carved spandrels and a gabled hood supported by cut brackets.
