Description

The building at 1, 3, and 5 Bow Road is a house dating from the early 18th century, with extensions added in the late 18th century. The original northern section consists of one bay built of red brick and topped with a tiled mansard roof. To the south are two bays constructed in red brick with blue headers, also featuring a matching tiled mansard roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has three bays in total. It incorporates two leaded hipped dormers. The windows are glazing-bar sash windows. The ground floor includes two 19th-century shop fronts with a flat projecting canopy on the left side. A panelled door from the 18th century and a hexagonal bay are located on the right side.
