Description
Oakhill is a house from the early 19th century that has undergone some alterations and additions in the mid-20th century. It is built of stuccoed brick and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves, along with brick stacks on the left side and at the rear. The house has two storeys and three bays, with corner pilasters and the middle bay slightly to the left of centre. All the windows are 16-pane sashes. The entrance, located in the middle bay, has a six-panelled door, with two glazed panels and four raised and fielded panels, along with a barred segmental fanlight and a 20th-century porch supported by two columns and an entablature. Inside, the house retains its ceiling mouldings, 19th-century fireplaces, and doors. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension on the left side elevation, as well as additional structures at the rear.
