House. Cl7 extended early C19. Part timber-framed with painted brick and rendered infill, on sandstone rubble plinth; part brick, plain tiled roofs, brick ridge stack to timber-framed part and external brick stack at left side of later addition. Timber-framed part: three framed bays; single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: three square panels from sill to wall-plate, short straight braces in upper corners and collar- and-tie-beam truss in left gable end with queen struts and V-strut in apex. Front elevation has paired 2-light and C20 3-light casement at ground floor level and two gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Attic light in left gable end. Brick addition: adjoins right gable end. Two storeys; two bays, one ground floor and two first floor glazing bar sashes with cambered heads; main entrance in left bay has a lean-to timber- framed porch on a sandstone base and a 4-panelled door. Interior not inspected.
