Description

Willow Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century, with alterations and extensions added in the mid-20th century. It is timber-framed, with painted brick and rendered infill between the timbers, and has a tile roof. The original plan comprised two framed bays aligned north to south, with a later extension to the south-east corner. The west front has one storey and a gable-lit attic. The ground floor has two three-light casement windows. A 20th-century porch provides the entrance on the right. The timber framing is arranged in three square panels high, with straight angle braces. Gable-end trusses incorporate two struts to the collar.
