Description
Homeleigh is a house located on Broad Street in Weobley, dating from the 17th century, with some alterations from the early 19th and early 20th centuries. The building features a timber frame with rendered infill, standing on a coursed rubble plinth beneath a tiled roof. It has two framed bays that are aligned north to south, with a central stack.
The east front has one storey with an attic that was originally lit by a framed gabled dormer, which is now blocked. Under the eaves, there is a 2-light casement window. The ground floor includes a garage entrance to the left and two windows to the right: a square bay beneath a lean-to tiled roof and a fixed window. The entrance is located between these features and is topped by a gabled tiled canopy that connects to the lean-to roof, leading to a panelled door. Additionally, there is a central timber porch, likely built in the 19th century. The framing consists of four square panels high with straight angle braces, and the dormer has V-struts in the gable.
