Description

Church Farm is a 17th-century farmhouse with alterations from the mid-19th century. It is timber-framed with painted brick and rendered infill, and has a tile roof with integral gable-end stacks. The farmhouse is three bays wide, aligned east to west. It has one storey with an attic, lit by three dormers – the outer two are gabled, while the central one is in a gablet. The ground floor has three windows: canted bays with hipped tile roofs on the left and right, and a two-light casement to the left of the central entrance. All windows have decorative diamond quarries, and a gabled porch contains a ledged door. The timber framing is three panels high, with straight tension braces to the gables. The east gable features three struts to the collar and V-struts in the apex.
