Description

This barn, located about 15 metres east of numbers 47, 48, 50, and 51 on Evesham Road, dates from the 18th century and was extended in the mid-19th century and early 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction with brick infill set on a brick plinth, topped with a half-hipped tile roof that has been extended with both brick and timber-frame elements. The barn consists of three framed bays arranged east to west, with the gable end facing the street. At the east end, there is a 19th-century brick cross-wing, and a 20th-century extension is present at the south-west corner. The earliest section includes a central threshing floor with full-height double doors. The framing consists of a single rectangular panel high with straight tension braces. This barn is included for its group value.
