Description

This is a 17th-century house, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. It is timber-framed and has painted brick infill on a painted stone plinth, a thatched roof, and brick gable-end stacks. The house is two bays wide, aligned north/south. The west front has a single storey with an attic, the attic lit by a casement window cut into the thatch to the left. The ground floor has three three-light casement windows. A lean-to porch provides access to the house on the south gable. The timber frame is structured with three rectangular panels in height, featuring straight tension braces.
