Description
Guinea Pig Cottage is a house dating back to the 17th century, with a later 19th-century extension. The original section is timber-framed with rendered and painted brick infill, while the extension has plank walls. The roof is thatched, with a machine tile roof on the extension. A gable-end brick stack is present. The house has one storey and an attic, with a 2-light casement window set into the thatch. On the ground floor is a 2-light casement. Two entrances feature 20th-century ledged and boarded doors. The timber framing consists of two square panels in height, incorporating straight angle braces.
