Description

Pershore House is a house dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations. It has a stucco-rendered exterior and a hipped Welsh-slate roof with deep bracketed eaves. The building features rendered stacks, with two on the left (one at the end), one on the right, and others at the rear.

The house is two storeys tall and has a three-bay main range flanked by lower single-bay wings. On the first floor, the main range has 8/1 horned sash windows with voussoirs, keystones, and louvered shutters. The ground floor projects forward beneath the hipped Welsh-slate roof on the right and is glazed above the entrance. It features two tripartite windows consisting of 4/1:8/1:4/1 sashes with painted sills, flanking a central doorcase that has a moulded frieze, a bracketed hood, and two-leaf half-glazed doors with margin glazing.

Each side bay has a 6/6 horned sash window on the first floor. On the ground floor of the right bay, there is a doorway leading to the side yard, which has a bracketed lintel and a wicket gate. The left bay features French doors with an overlight and an added iron and wood porch. The house has a plinth and includes wings and outbuildings at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
