Description

This barn, located about 10 metres east of Barrells Manor, dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction set on a plinth made of sandstone and brick, with weatherboarding and a tiled roof. The barn is arranged in four framed bays that run east to west, with a threshing floor situated in the bay to the east of the centre. The framing consists of three square panels high and was modified in the 18th century to include straight tension braces.
