Description
This barn, located approximately 30 meters west of Manor House Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It features 20th-century weatherboarding over a timber frame set on a brick plinth, topped with a 20th-century interlocking tile roof. The barn has a six-bay plan with a rear aisle and was originally designed with two threshing floors. Notable exterior features include 18th-century strap hinges on the double plank doors to the left and a gabled roof. Inside, the structure has posts that are braced to the wall plates and tie beams, along with a six-bay collar-truss roof that includes side struts and clasped purlins.
