Description
This barn, located approximately 60 meters southeast of the Manor House, is likely from the early 18th century. It features a timber-frame construction with weatherboard cladding set on a high dressed limestone plinth, and its thatched roof is covered with 20th-century corrugated iron.
The exterior includes a four-bay structure with a single-storey L-plan range attached to the right end. The threshing floor is positioned to the left of center and has paired plank doors on each side, with the front doors featuring wrought-iron strap hinges and one split door. There is also a shuttered pitching hole at the right end, secured with a wooden latch. The roof is supported by trusses with braced tie beams and collars. The right return of the barn is constructed of brick below the collar, while the attached outbuilding has a stone front wall and a cob rear wing.
The interior has not been inspected.
