Description

This barn, located approximately 130 meters west of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It features weatherboarded timber framing set on a brick plinth, topped with an old plain-tile roof. The barn has a four-bay plan, with a porch positioned to the right of the center and an outshut to the left. There are opposed full-height doors, along with a subsidiary door on the right side of the porch. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, the structure includes trusses with short curved principals and two rows of clasped purlins. The porch was added at a later date. A post beside the entrance is inscribed with "R + S/175(9?)1/1793/L+W".
