Description

This barn, located about 20 metres north of Manor Farmhouse, dates to the late 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is timber-framed and rests on a brick and ashlar plinth, with brick infill between the timbers. The roof is tiled. The barn has five bays aligned east to west, featuring a central threshing floor. The timber framing is arranged in four square panels high. Intermediate trusses incorporate two raking struts. The gable ends have two collars with multiple struts and V-shaped struts at the apex.
