Pair of houses, now partly offices. C17, much altered and refronted late C18/early C19. Timber-framed, rebuilt in red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof with painted brick dentilled eaves, no stack visible. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. 1st floor: 3/6 sashes with painted channelled voussoirs, keystones and sills. Ground floor: two shallow bay-windows, that on left canted, with C20 multi-pane glazing; to each side, a renewed doorcase and C20 door with a segmental brick arch and stone steps. Painted rendered plinth. INTERIOR: square-panelled timber-framing with passing braces in side and party walls; heavily-chamfered spine beams; exposed joists; partly stone-flagged floor.
