Description
No. 15 Broad Street is a house that is part of a row, with some of it now functioning as a shop. It was built in the early 19th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain tile roof with brick dogtooth eaves and a central brick ridge stack.
The exterior has two storeys and a two-window range of plate glass sashes, which are adorned with painted channelled voussoirs, keystones, and sills. On the ground floor, there is an added canted bay window on the left, featuring plate glass sashes and a pitched leaded roof with a sill. To the right, there are paired doorcases beneath a hipped leaded moulded hood, which is supported by three wooden consoles and pilasters. The left doorcase has a fanlight with radial glazing bars and a six-panel door, while the right doorcase, leading to a passage, has a plank door. The building also has a painted plinth. The interior has not been inspected.
