Description

This barn, located about 30 metres north of Pye Hill Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century to the early 19th century. It features a timber-frame construction, with some areas having brick infill and others being weatherboarded, all topped with a slate roof. The barn consists of three framed bays arranged in an east/west orientation, with a central threshing floor. The framing includes three square panels in height, and the roof, which is from the early 19th century, has two raking struts for each truss.
