Description
Walton is a house that dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features gable end stacks. The building has two storeys and is topped with a moulded stone cornice, stone coped verges, and a chamfered brick plinth. There are two brick bands on the facade. The house has three timber cross windows with rubbed brick heads. On the ground floor, there are two mid-20th century tripartite metal casements under concrete lintels that flank a central entrance with a glazed door. One bracket remains from a lost gabled canopy.
