Description

Whitlenge House is an early 19th-century brick house with a hipped slate roof and stacks located on the right and rear walls. The building has two storeys and features boarded eaves. It has four windows, which are glazing bar sashes, and a semi-circular bay window that projects from the left return wall, accompanied by an additional glazing bar sash. All windows are topped with rubbed brick heads and have stone sills. The entrance is located off centre to the left and is sheltered by a canopy supported by slender fluted Doric columns. The canopy has a shaped board and a flat design, and the entrance door is glazed.
