Description
This is a late 17th to early 18th century barn, with later 19th-century alterations. It is timber-framed, built on a sandstone plinth, and has brick infill with a tile roof. The barn consists of four bays aligned north/south; two bays form the northern part of the barn, while two bays function as stables to the south. The east front has a low cart entry positioned off-centre to the left, and four windows and two doors leading to the stables on the right. The timber framing is a single rectangular panel high and includes straight tension braces. The gable truss features queen struts to the collar.
