Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction on a rendered plinth, with rendered infill panels and a slate roof. The building has an L-plan layout, with ranges extending to the north and east. There is a stack on the north gable, as well as on the west and north lateral walls.

The front of the cottage has one storey with a gable-lit attic on the left side and a square bay window on the ground floor. To the right, there are two storeys with a three-light 20th-century metal casement window above a similar casement window. The entrance is located to the right and features a glazed door. The framing includes a gable truss with three queen struts supporting the collar and V-struts in the apex.
