Description

Walton Cottages, located in Elmley Lovett, are two houses that were formerly one dwelling. They date from the mid-18th century and were remodeled in the early to mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick on an ashlar plinth and feature a tiled roof. The building has a parallel range plan with an M-shaped roof and gable end stacks. It stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic. The south front has two windows, which are two 2-light casements with Gothic glazing from the early to mid-19th century, flanking two blocked windows. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light casements that flank two entrances, each with gabled canopies and half-glazed doors.
