Description

The Amphlett Memorial is a chest tomb located about six yards west of the Sandys Mausoleum on Worcester Road in Ombersley. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of sandstone ashlar. The memorial features a stepped plinth and a moulded hipped capping, with panelled corner pilasters and additional panelled pilasters at the center of the sides. It includes shaped inscription panels and commemorates Thomas Amphlett, who died in 1844.
