UPTON BISHOP CP Two Hardwick memorials approximately 5 m south of nave of Church of St John the Baptist

Chest tomb. 1806. Sandstone ashlar. Rectangular plan. Balusters flank fielded inscription panel, hourglass encircled by serpent and skull to short sides. Pedestal tomb. 1842. Sandstone ashlar, moulded plinth and capping with urn finial, frieze below capping with florettes, band of fluting flanks inscription panel with shaped inset and florettes in spandrels.
