Description
Grendon Court is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stuccoed sandstone rubble, with a hipped roof of Welsh slate. The house follows an L-shaped plan. The main section is aligned northwest/southeast, with an earlier part forming a service wing to the rear and extending to the northeast. The main entrance is on the southwest front, with end and axial stacks. The house has two storeys and attics. The southwest front features a two-storey canted bay with multi-paned sash windows to the left, and three multi-paned sash windows to the right. A Doric portico shelters the central entrance, which has a six-panelled door.
