House with adjoining stable and loft. C17 house, late C18 or early C19 adjoining stable and loft. Timber-framed 'house with brick infill, sandstone plinth and rear outshut, brick adjoining stable/loft. Tiled roofs. Straight range of 2 framed bays with north (rear) outshut aligned east-west, stable loft adjoining to east gable; entry to right of centre and in west gable of house, north stable entry, external stack to west gable now removed. House: 2 storeys formerly with gable-lit attic, two windows, 2- and 3-light casements with some leaded lights remaining; ledged doors. Framing: 4 panels from sill to wall-plate. Interior: Cross-beamed ceilings to lower and upper chambers of west bay, inclined strut trusses to roof. Adjoining stable with loft, single storey with attic, three 3-light casements with segmental heads. House formerly a farmhouse, now no longer used as a dwelling.
