Description

Fetterlocks Lodge is a turnpike cottage or toll house built in the early 19th century. It features painted brick and rubble construction with a slate roof that is hipped towards the road, and has a rendered brick stack. The building is two storeys high and has a single window on each side. The end elevation is canted and showcases Gothick Y-tracery windows, framed by pilaster strips and a plain cornice band. A central 20th-century glazed door is accompanied by a porch and a blind window above.
