Description
Rodge Hill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof featuring coped verges and end stacks. The building has two storeys and a garret, with a brick cornice decorated with modillions. It has three windows on the front: the outer first-floor windows are tripartite sashes, while the outer ground-floor windows are three-light sashes, all set under segmental heads. Above the centre of the first floor is a garret window. The central entrance is highlighted by a bracketed wooden pediment and features a half-glazed panelled door. Inside, the front right ground floor room includes a wooden chimney piece dating from around 1800. The left rear wing has a farm office built into alcoves next to the fireplace, which includes a folding desk.
