Description
Prickley Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and painted brick infill. It features a plain tile roof with a large brick chimney stack on the right side and a smaller one on the left. The cottage is 1 and a half storeys tall, with an attic that is illuminated by a flat-roofed 20th-century dormer. The entrance is located off-centre to the right and is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch, flanked by two 20th-century metal casement windows. The framing consists of two structural bays with four square panels high up to the wall-plate, and the roof is supported by queen struts to the collar. At the rear, there is a brick outshut.
