Description

Church End Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located in Godstone. It features a timber frame set on a stone plinth, with brick cladding at the bottom and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled and has end ridge stacks. The cottage is two storeys tall with an attic, which includes two hipped roof dormers. On the first floor, there are four casement windows, while the ground floor has windows with cambered heads. To the right of the centre, there is a 20th-century studded stable-style door beneath a hipped porch hood supported by wooden posts and surrounded by brick dado walls. Inside, there is a timber-framed partition wall.
