Description
Potters Cottage is a house dating from the mid-16th century. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and rendered roughcast at the right end. The roof is plain tiled with a hip design, gables, an end stack to the right, a front stack to the left of centre, and a rear ridge stack at the left end. The building stands two storeys high and consists of three framed bays with curved bracing. The first floor has five 20th-century leaded casement windows, and there is a stable-style door to the right of centre. Catslide extensions are present at both ends. Inside, there is a deep brick fireplace, and the framing is visible. The roof features a plain crown post design.
